How this changelog works

Product and API changes ship continuously; the authoritative release record is the deploy history at https://www.rightshold.com/transparency — every deploy, with its commit and build hash, recorded as it happens. Rule, pricing and policy changes are different: they are announced here and at https://www.rightshold.com/transparency/changes at least 7 days before they take effect, and the announced text is hashed and sealed. Nothing that governs fees, grades or access changes silently.

Rule, pricing & policy changes (announced)

• 2026-10-30 · pricing · New price line for cross-model agreement (POST /v1/ai-runs/agreement), priced separately from AI run receipts: $0.01 platform fee per agreement run plus the model cost Rightshold pays the router plus 20%, with no free monthly allowance. Also amends rc-0005: the founding-agent perk never covers cross-model agreement (it spends real third-party money per call), and founder free uses are capped at 1,000 per feature per account per calendar month, after which the normal price applies. Until this takes effect agreement stays free but bounded by published cost rails: heavy-class quota (no anonymous use, 5 per day per account, 100 per day KYA-verified), a 5-model allowlist, max_tokens 1000, a $0.50 per-account and $5 platform daily model budget.
• 2026-10-30 · pricing · Amends rc-0002, rc-0003 and rc-0004 with a founding-agent perk: the first 10 distinct accounts to use each newly priced feature (AI run receipts, spend authorizations, human-approval receipts, reputation snapshots, escrow records, agent gate checks) get that feature free for 12 months from their first use. Claims are recorded automatically from first use in an append-only table and on the public ledger (stream founders), shown at /founders with pseudonymous ids only; sandbox and test accounts never take a spot. Also replaces the pricing principle 'Mission: Trustless, Greedless, Adminless' with the honest goal: verifiable today, working toward trustless and operator-free. Free during the preview.
• 2026-10-30 · pricing · Planned price lines for agent reputation, escrow records and the agent gate: each ledgered reputation snapshot $0.002 and each opened escrow record $0.02 (milestone events included), with 500 snapshots and 50 escrow records free per month per account; each agent gate check beyond 10,000 per month per site $0.0005. Reputation lookups, the formula, reading escrow records and saving gate configs stay free forever. Escrow records are record-only: no custody fee because Rightshold holds no money. Free during the preview.
• 2026-10-29 · pricing · Planned price lines for agent controls: each signed spend authorization $0.002 and each signed human-approval receipt $0.01, with 500 of each free per month per account. Verifying receipts, revocation lookups, the revocation feed and signed list, and recording a revocation stay free forever. Free during the preview.
• 2026-10-29 · pricing · New price line for Verified AI Runs: each signed AI run receipt planned at $0.01 with 100 free per month per account; verifying a receipt is free forever. No charge during the preview.
• 2026-10-29 · all · Rule-change waiting period begins: from now on any change to a published rulebook (grading, arbitration, licenses, KYA levels, pricing, allocation, neutrality, canary eval, verified check) is announced here at least 7 days before it takes effect.
